 | Learn about health literacy initiatives in northeastern Wisconsin, and the impact of health literacy issues on the health care system.
Keynote speaker: Paul Smith, M.D.
Paul Smith is a leading voice for health literacy in the Staet of Wisconsin. He is Associate Professor in the Department of Family Medicine at UW-Madison and has been a key player in organizing statewide and regional healht literacy summits. Dr. Smith frequently presents his health literacy message to the many players in the healthcare field: insurers, legislators, and especially Wisconsin's healthcare workers.
Who should attend? Heatlh care and social service providers, literacy program members, educators in health professions training programs, health professions students.
